The gardens team were today awarded a Silver Gilt medal at RHS Tatton for their garden 'A Midsummer Night's Theme'.
On Friday 1st May Lavinia, Dowager Marchioness of Cholmondeley was presented with an award by the Professional Gardener's Guild.
There is some great colour in the garden right now, and not to be missed. Huge drifts of bulbs, Rhododendrons, Shrubs and early perennials can be found throughout.
Wildlife is well and truly on the move at the moment. Birds, insects and aquatic life are in full spring swing.
We've long known that Cholmondeley is home to some of the finest specimen trees in the region, but now its official!
These diminutive dazzlers are the first harbingers of spring at Cholmondeley. These incredibly hardy bulbs will emerge to form large drifts throughout the garden in the coming weeks.
The mild weather this autumn and winter has meant that the gardens team have been able to make great progress with the winter renovations.
