Wildflower and Orchid Walk

June 14th 2017 in Events

This popular walk and talk returns for 2017.

Join a member of the gardens team for this informal walk and talk amongst our naturalised grass areas, and discover the diversity of wildflowers native to Cholmondeley. Of particular note are our fine populations of Common Spotted Orchid which are truly dazzling sight at this time of year. Also at this time of year you will be able to see the locally abundant Ox-Eye Daisies that we have introduced to some of our grass areas.

Leaving from our Tea Room the walk and talk will commence 1pm-2.30pm. Suitable outdoor clothing will be required.
