Opening Times & Admission Prices

Our Gardens are open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.  Please visit our "What's On" Section for details of forthcoming events and amendments to opening days.  

Please note that during the Cholmondeley Castle Horse Trials in July and the Pony Club Championships in August the Gardens will be closed to the public.  Please see the Events Section for more information.

Autumn Colours:

Our Gardens open to the public during the month of October on Sundays only for Autumn Tints  allowing visitors the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful autumn colours presented by the gardens at this time of the year.  Our Tea Room, play area, etc will be open as usual.

ADMISSION PRICES:  

Adults £8.50
Children £4.00 (under 5’s free) 
Reduction for groups of 25 people or over to £8.00 per person

Credit Card Facilities:

Credit Card payment facilities are available on entry to the gardens, but please note we do not have credit card facilities at our Tea Room.

Dogs:

Dogs are allowed in the gardens but these should be kept on leads at all times.  If you should any have queries then please contact the Castle Office on 01829 720383.  

INFORMATION: 

Caution should be taken around the grounds owing to differential and irregular ground levels, including shallow but sheer drops, tree roots, rabbit warrens etc, with sensible footwear being required at all times and pathways may become slippery with some areas being restricted for wheelchair access.  If assistance is required please ask a member of staff.  Avoid parking or resting below trees.  There are water hazards within the grounds and vehicles sharing routes and moving around the site and children/vulnerable persons should be supervised at all times. In the event of an accident or incident please report this immediately to a member of staff.
